Love

This is just a quick post to say how much I believe in love!

I am truly blessed to be madly in love with my husband and to be loved back just as much.

I also believe that there is someone for everyone.

Love doesn't have to be just for your signigicant other, there are so many types of love...

Love for your children, whether they are your biological ones or not....
I love my son and step-daughters with all my heart.

Love for your pets...
I love our two dogs, Riley (aka Wiggle-Butt) and Bella

Love for your extended family...
I love my Mom, Dad (who has passed), Sisters, Brother, Nieces, Nepews etc.

Love for your friends...
I have allot of friends but a few very close ones that I do cherish.

Love for things that are spiritual...
I love God

Even love for material things or objects...
I love our home.

Last but certainly not least....I love life!!!

Spring Cleaning!

Something to know about me.... I am a complete neat freak!
I love to keep our house clean and neat. I take such pride in keeping a beautiful home <3
(eventually I will post some pictures when I figure this whole blog thing out)
I just makes my heart melt when my husband comes home to a fresh clean home and just looks at me with a smile on his face and says "I love you more than you'll ever know"
So, back to Spring cleaning....I started a few weeks ago by cleaning out closets and drawers first. Packing up clothes etc and donating them.
We have a VA donation program where they come to our house and pick up anything, all I have to do is make a call!
After clearing out the old stuff you can start to really get into the cleaning.
I find that if you stick with one room at a time it works best.
Take down curtains, have them drycleaned or wash them your self, clean windows, blinds or whatever type of window treatments you may have.
Then work your way down to baseboards then floors etc.
Dust everything (I do this every week anyway) and get rid of those tacky knick knacks!!
I can not stand knick knacks! All they are is gawdy dust catchers.
Move furniture and clean it too....polish it up,clean the fabrics, or freshen it up by changing out something.
Add a fresh coat of paint to any room to really make it feel like a whole new space!

I would love to hear some good tips or some tried and true ways of how you clean.....ideas???

Anyway, enough of my rambling....I am heading out to pick up some paint for our office space!!
Happy Spring Cleaning!! xoxo
